I was so curious about the blackest black ‘Vantablack’ after hearing a podcast from 99% Invisible Their Dark Materials and The Secret Lives of Color, then again on Stuff you Should Know’s Short Stuff: Vantablack. Vantablack was not shared and kept a secret until British artist Stuart Semple invented his own blackest black pigment ‘Black 3.0′. Not only does it absorb up to 99% of visible light but Stuart also shares how to use it, how to prep your surface, and what brushes work best. I created a series using Black 3.0 to support Stuart Semple and Culture Hustle in honor of their information and product sharing.
