A series of acronyms that we use daily to increase the speed of communication. The first time I received a piece of chatspeak, I was in Berlin texting with an American who texted “LOL”. My interpretation was ‘Lots of Love’! The times have changed as we have adopted this universal shorthand from cyberculture.
